Nope. The head does nothing but protect the lens and laser module inside from dust. Removing it will not make the laser any more powerful.

If you want to pop balloons, draw on the balloon with a dark-colored pen and hold your laser "steady" at that spot on the balloon for a full second, then it will pop. :tinfoil:

I calling the gyus from the shop magazine who i buy the laser and they say me the same with you. OK, i know that,

I can make my 50 mW more powereful? with any method...

If you want the laser to last longer than 1 week. No.

You can turn the pot (potentiometer) to get more power from it,.... But this will kill the diode in a matter of days. And, then you will have no laser at all.

How much did you pay for it? Are you sure it is really 50mW? :whistle:

ok. I understand that the seller told you it was 50mW. Without measuring it on a Laser Power Meter, you don't know for sure.
But we can get a good idea.

Do you see the "laser beam" in the night sky?
Can it melt thin black plastic?

You can find them at any liquor store in the US. You could try a "bargain" store in your country. (wherever that is) :thinking:

I'm sure that's not necessary.

Just try to make a hole with your laser.

My 50mW pops balloons faster than in that video. That one looks like about 30mW to me, IDK. :undecided:

Have you tried to pop a balloon yet? Have you tried melting other dark materials? :yh:
