Happy day it is! just got my 2 lasers from jake21!

i just recieved my red burner and blu ray from jake21! the blu ray is so cool and makes stuff glow, even my shoes the red burner is unused so far because i dont have the batts for it yet :'( i cant wait till i get some batteries and burn like theres no tommorow! there is one down side on the blu ray though. :-/ it has really bad divergence, i dont know if it is me or something else. after about 2 or 3 meters the violet becomes a big blob :'( it pops a balloon in an instant though, i thought it wouldnt but it did and i almost shat myself. :-[ lucky i didnt do it in the house or my mum would have killed me should i make a review of these?



EDIT: im going to make a review of the blu ray and red today. i've taken the pics and a video of the blu ray popping balloon. BTW i went to a discount chemist today to see if their cr123's were lower than $10 but instead they were $17 AUD for just one friggen battery

It might not have bad divergance... The only way to really tell is to have someone looking close up at the dot, while you're shining it like 20 feet away. The reason is that the eyes have a very hard time seeing this wavelength in the first place, which means they also cant focus on it well. Up close they do a pretty good job, but any more than a few feet away and it will look 'blurry', even though up close it may be perfectly fine.

ok i just tried what u told me. my mum was holding the laser. i went up close (mum was around 8m away) and it still looked like a big blob, i even took a photo. if u want i could upload it :'(

yea. but i just realised what i was doing wrong :-[ i was focusing it to a wall around 30cm away :-[ i did it to a wall 10m away and now it works great ;D

The blu-ray has excellent divergence.  It can be focused to a very fine point at large distances.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but a DPSSL uses different collimator set up then blu ray and red.  A DPSS laser is usually much less in diameter then blu ray and red, therefore when focusing an Aixiz lens up close the dot actually must be focused  to a semi large diameter (approx 1/4") to make a straight consistent beam.  To maximize the burning capabilities of your red, try focusing at an object as fine and smallest diameter as possible.  You must refocus your lens back when your pointing (unless you want it as a huge blob).  

I think this little explanation is why usakicksass gave you one of these:   , but I'm not trying to put words in someone’s mouth so I really don't know.

I think he's mad at you because you bought Jake21's bluray. It's a complete ripoff of milos's bluray.
