Thanks Alaskan

So the 520 nm is better in the cold, which is good to know.

Jet has 2 different 520 nm

PL-E Pro and the PL-E Mini (the one you linked). As the name implies, is it just the size of the case which is different? Both are 1W and I assume the beam would be similar with either?

Hi repur, the size of the host (case) is the big difference, the larger PL-E Pro would give you better heatsinking ability for a longer duty cycle.
Also, the larger PL-E Pro uses 2 x 18650, or 2 x 26650 batteries, where the Mini uses 2 x 16340, or 2 x 18350 batteries.
Between the larger size, and bigger batteries, the full size would give you more run time, which is only important if you are going to use it. The Mini will be a bit more compact for storing and packing.

Edit: As Radim, Alaskan and others have said, Jetlasers is by far, a better choice than something like W/L.

I would sign under heatsinking issues between Mini and Pro, as Bowtie wrote. It was one of my considerations too, when selecting my 473 nm from JL and I went for Pro host version because of this reason mainly.
