I know that people say the best WL products are the Dragon Case and Safety Glasses. However, people still say that their lower powered laser are good. Which ones would you recommend (WL look awesome, I'm not going to lie)? :)

In my opinion, they suck.
Other than they are cool looking, I really dont like them.
If you want, you can order them, but, you will be dissapointed. :(
For example, a 10mW=8mW at most.

I've seen a lot of stories of the lower power models to be freaks where they put out a ton of power, the biggest issue though is mainly mode-hopping.

Wow, Timelord, is that the power meter for the old GB? If it can do that, then I really want one! :D

Anyway, as for WL, all I have is a core, and no way of testing it.....it seems good. :D I am really looking forward to the release of the 150mw 'Elite Series' that sounds great if it actually not underpowered. *hopes* :-/

Geesh ! Sawt, you amaze me ! For someone who has been around almost since WL's inception - to STILL have any kind of hopes for ANY of their lasers ? C'mon...you have seen all the reports man - who are you fooling ? Sorry to sound so cynical - but DAMN, man ! This is nuts. I will go ahead and make the broad, sweeping statement that WL lasers Suck Ass. Their Dragon cases, and their goggles are the only things I recommend of theirs - Uhm..MAYBE a few Pulsar's have worked properly....EVERY product of theirs I have owned except ONE has been under powered, pieces of crap. And I am not alone ! 'Nuff said.

Well said Greg I was trying not to rip WL apart too much ;D ;D But anyone even considering their products need their heads tested  Obviously more reading of this forum is needed to educate these poor fools that get taken in by all the hype of Wicked laser ::) This post deserve a dodgy Steve pic now :D

I don't even know how much longer their goggles will be worth refering people to!

Wasn't there talk of them either changing sources..or even worse making their own>!>!>!

I HATE refering WL even for goggles!!!!!!

And as a side note.......and please forgive me if you like them..but that dragon case looks....Um.....faggey...
I'd rather place my laser in an old cigar case or rolled up newspaper than that thing!

Yes it is the power meter from the first group buy and it's well worth every penny spent :)

maybe you shouldn't buy over the 35mW laser.

Almost all 15mW are overpowered so they are also good.

Your WL Core is not underpower TL. It's a class IIIA laser, its supposed to be <5mW. If it hit 5mW, THAT would be a problem. Your core is pretty typical and consistent, if not slightly better than, most leadlights and other quality 5mW greenies.

Who said that!? I have a WL Classic that's putting out around 50mW! I'm not defending WL or anything, but don't say what you don't know. ;)

Anything past the 55mW version in the green is probably going to be under-performing. The pulsars usually reach their spec. though.

Wait until you've got your x-85, and rethink your decision.

I've purchased a few wicked lasers products, and my main complaint with them is that they're overpriced. If you want a 125mw laser that will light matches it costs $550 usd. Compared to the $350 nova x-125, wicked lasers needs to rethink their prices. In addition, they don't offer power graphs for the laser you purchase. This means that you probably won't be able to tell if your laser is underperforming or not unless you happen to have access to an expensive laser power meter. Even their low-powered units are overpriced by 20-30% compared to their competitors, and their products aren't a whole lot better. The main point is that wickedlasers aren't worth the 20-30% premium, especially when you consider that they don't provide output graphs.
