your opinion? i see most wickedlaser...than others...

Judging from the reviews from that review site, no. The reviews are useless , therefore that is a bad review site.
The Executive Nexus laser has a Wavelength range of 38 miles, and a 95mW CLASS 3B Output power. Also, we must not forget about its 550mA Power Consumption! Admittedly, after I watched the brief demo about lasers, I was able to understand the aforementioned info and this indeed increased my laser IQ tenfold!

That means that his laser IQ was something like 0.1 before ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That guy is a blog spammer. Specifically, he is creating a bunch of free sites on Blogger, and linking them to his own web site, the idea being to artificially increase his PageRank to fool Google into giving his site better rankings in searches than it would otherwise deserve. :(

If you have any doubt, check-out his profile page on that site, and look at all of those similar Blogger sites he has created,::) such as...

bluelaserpointers.blogspot.com
bluelaserpointer.blogspot.com
violetlaserpointer.blogspot.com
purplelaserpointer.blogspot.com
laserpointerreview.blogspot.com
laserpointersreview.blogspot.com
yellowlaser.blogspot.com
yellowlaserpointer.blogspot.com
highpowerlaserpointer.blogspot.com
redlaserpointer.blogspot.com
200mwredlaserpointer.blogspot.com
100mwgreenlaserpointers.blogspot.com
200mwgreenlaser.blogspot.com
1000mwlaserpointer.blogspot.com
beamq.blogspot.com

...and even more!

[Note that I am not posting live links here, so as not to help him spam Google any further!]

If you still have any doubts, check-out one of his other linked blogs -

findlinkfast.blogspot.com

Where he actually recommends blog/comment spamming ::) (and even explicitly mentions Blogger by name!:o) as a way to jack-up your own site's PageRank!

From looking at his own web site (beamq.com), he appears to be selling imported pointers. The English on the site didn't feel quite right (i.e. - "200mw Extremely Burning Red Laser Pointer", etc.), and sure enough, a WhoIs check on his domain name comes-up with what appears to be a Chinese name, doing business from Canada.

What he is doing is actually quite stupid & dangerous, as Google does NOT like it when someone engages in blog spamming in order to "game" Google! :o (Even more so in this case, as Google now actually OWNS Blogger! :o :o) All it would take is just one of his competitors (Wicked, DX, etc.) to turn him in to Google, and his site's toast! :P

(LOL - Good one, Switch! ;D)

The guy spews terms around like he knows their significance.

jwc, the reason may be because he is just trying to come-up with text to fill all of those spam blogger sites???!

realista, I would suggest that you edit your original post, and change it from a live link to just text (remove the http in front?), as leaving it as a live link here is actually helping this guy's evil plan!

BTW, I was particularly surprised about this guy actually bragging on his own web site about how they get high-power lasers across the border and past US Customs! :o :o :o Not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, as they say! ;)

What a scum.....Let's report him to everywhere we can, including FDA maybe ::)

Hence, I learned that the stronger the beam output is the better chances of a laser inflicting a bit of damage on burning through plastic or paper. So, it goes without saying, that lasers pointers are not toys.

LOL!

If you had to ask a companie if higher milli-watts meaning better burning you must be a UBER-NOOB and then to make a blog!!

These arn't laser POINTERS, these are laser BURNERS or high powered lasers if you call a laser over 5mw a "pointer" then that I'm sure that using a 100mw laser "pointer" with your friends and playing with your cat with it will be really safe.

This is the funniest thing I've seen this week.

The steady green light beam from this Nexus laser illuminated my entire dark living room like a bright green shining beacon and the beam distance could easily be seen for about 20 yards outside. And while I didn’t do the light the cigarette test, I was able to actually burn a hole through two sheets of notebook paper as well as through a paper towel. I would strongly suggest not attempting this; however, my reasoning for doing the above was for the purpose of writing this review.

Wow, you can see the beam at 20 yards?! That's insane, and to burn two sheets of paper at only 95mW?  :o Sounds like he has a magical blu-green-fake-ray[sup]TM[/sup]  I want one.  ;D

that laser pointers are not toys and should only be purchased for someone who knows the proper use.
I'm sure that's why you no doubt use certified goggles for your reviews and not wickedlaser goggles...  ::)

The only thing not funny is some people might take this clown seriously.

Why do waste so much energy on this guy? Meh.

hey the optotronic review is mine i think i just cant find it
hey it is my review I'm famous thank you thank you ;D ;D

A spammer in our midst? :-? And using multiple nicks in case one gets banned ::) - this guy doesn't have a brother that lives in Australia, does he? ;D Perhaps someone should bring this to c0ld's attention???

BTW, John Lawson, it appears you may not be the only person here who has accused him of stealing other ppl's content?! - :o

Why waste so much energy on this guy? Meh.

For comic relief, perhaps? ;D ;D ;D

Because the OP asked us if this was a good site?

Because he deserves it

That too! ;)

The only thing not funny is some people might take this clown seriously.

Exactly. This guy has a whole bunch of these free "Blogger spam" sites, greatly increasing the chances that other people will also come across one of them, and perhaps follow his "sage" advice! ::)

Even worse, after people read his "expert" advice, these Blogger spam sites then lead them to his own site, where he is selling these newly "educated" ppl 200mW burners! :o

Some unlucky person (or even worse, one of their children) may end up shopping for a white cane & guide dog next! :o :o :'(

So yes, I think it's worth responding to realista's inquiry and giving ppl here the "head's-up" about this guy's "educational" spam blogger sites. One of the purposes of LPF is to educate newbies (who may not know any better), after all. ;)

wow... my thread has been fastly increased XD.... i'm happy to hear your opinion regarding this bad site.... se U soon!
