The toilet appears to have 4 5mm encapsulated devices in the sensor head. One is a red indicator LED, one is a green indicator LED. That leaves the other two, which I'm assuming is an IR source and IR photodiode.
The power appears to be supplied per flush, but I was not able to disassemble to verify the power storage capacity.

If I had to take a break and did not want it to flush, I was able to drape a thin piece of toilet paper over the sensor face and walk away to cook more chili before returning to the task at hand (well, not really at hand, I had toilet paper)

And thanks for worrying about me, it was a tough few days, but eventually, the Browns made it to the superbowl :D

edit: camping at the beach, nice :)
Wake up early enough to catch comet ISON?

Thanks! I was amazed as well of how well that picture was. I took a beam shot last night and will upload it later today along with some other pictures.

PS: Buying the 532nm Anser tomorrow and I am pretty excited :)

And PI R, it seems you have a new wavelength of laser!

Your signature says you have a broken 632nm 5mW Laser:yh:

Quite rite, it has a wavelength of 0nm. I was hoping to reuse the host because its larger than many pen hosts that run on 2 AAA but I can't get the module out of it so its just a paperweight now. I hope to replace it with something soon, I really want another green.

EDIT: Oops just realized that's a typo in my sig, thanks for pointing that out.

BShanahan that is fascinating, glad to hear your OK, we were worried when you failed to check in here again.

I read an article sometime back saying in the near future we will have urinals with a display above them that will tell you whats in your urine and warn of possible health problems.

Alright,

I have some final pictures if you are all interested.

PS: I was going to add a picture of the Libra(on) during sunset but as I was taking a picture and aiming the laser toward myself(I rather get hit than anyone else) a girl walked by and looked at me like :candle: so I stopped and realized how weird it looked haha, so no pictures unfortunately of that.

I know this isn't much but I didn't really spend a lot of time taking pictures, mostly enjoyed the scenery! This was by far I think, one of my best pictures and really brings out the elegance of the Libra!

Thank you all!

We'll slap me in the face and call me Susan.... But based in your op, I assumed the pics would be beam shots. But I do give you and A for effort

Hey Michael, I did in fact have some beam shots but the picture quality is hideous, which is why I did not decide to upload them :)

Ok, I was asked to upload the beam shot anyways. The picture quality isn't great but you should still be able to see the faint beam.
