I have been saving and looking for a high build quality pointer style laser. These are the websites I have looked over:
laserglow.com
novalasers.com
dragonlasers.com
skylasers.com
wickedlasers.com (new pro series)
optotronics.com
rayfoss.com

I have limited it down to the following.
novalasers.com
dragonlasers.com
skylasers.com

I have limited it to those as they seem to have the high quality CNI build. (this is what I want)

I like skylasers pointer, but I'm not a big fan of the white/silver mix, I prefer the black/gold.

So here is my question. If I were to order from novalasers or dragonlasers, would I receive it without a problem and no nasty letters from the FDA? I live in the US.

Ill go for a skylasers pointer if I have to seeing that it's really the same laser, but I would rather not if I don't have to.

P.S, I'm going for the 95mW model.

Thanks All.

Please consider getting in on the CNI Group Buy, I have running Group Buys from CNI the supplier of the Black and Gold pens also sold by Nova Lasers & Dragon Lasers. The laser will cost less in a Group Buy. PM me with where you want it sent, and what output power you want, I'll tell you what the reduced cost is through a GB! Best Wishes! -Glenn

PM sent. But that still doesn't answer the FDA question.

Thanks.

I just got your PM about the price. That's crazy, $250 down to $155.83.
As I said, I'm so in on it once/if my parents approve. :D

Thanks. All I have ever had as far as a green laser is the WL Core. I modded it, so it's probably a steady 10mW laser now. Still nothing much.

With a 125mW, am I going to "freak" once I first turn it on? I remember when I first turned on the 5mW core and was pretty wowed by how bright it was. (I know green is most visible for the human eye, but still..)

The beam is slightly visible after modding if you look down it like in a 10 degree angle, so I guess a 125mW will be much more visible?

Thanks!

Its going to be amazing! You and everyone you show that beast to will be in awe of the brightness and burning power. Good choice going with Glenn, he is awesome and great to deal with. Make sure you show us some pic's when you get it.. I know you said your buying goggles with it, which is very smart. Once you get this laser remember to never slack on safety, one mistake could cost you your eyesight for life. Also be cautious when allowing others to use / play with it, especially indoors with only 1 pair of goggles.

Yeah good point(s). If I ever let anyone else use it I will make sure it's outside (watching out planes/vehicles/people etc) and that the user knows the full dangers of the laser.

EDIT:
Oh yeah. Of course Ill get some pics! :D

Im not sure how old you are but I take it your younger. You seem very responsible, and thats exactly how I am. My friends, regardless of age get a small lecture on dangers and safety, and can only play outside lol.

I'm usually into things that are in a way meant for an "older" group, so I guess I have to be. Thanks.

I guess I'm young, but can't really say how much I am unless I know your age. :yh:

Like if your 30, 40, or 50, yes I'm young. I'm 17, will be 18 in a few months.
Don't worry, I'm getting permission from parents before buying from Glenn. It is Glenn, correct?

It can be quite annoying though being 17 as your are still legally a "kid", but yet your so close... :(
