FLAMINPYRO: You're a cool cat and I want to make sure we stay friends, but I HAVE to ask you: does your sig NEED to be so frickin' long?? You'll make a one line post put it still takes up an entire page because of your photo gallery that gets repeated every single time you post. I just seems like such a waste of space and bandwidth.

But the main reason is selfish; I do most of my surfing now (like a lot of people) on either my phone or tablet and not only do your posts make the whole thread take much longer to load, but the amount of scrolling anyone has to do to get through a thread you've posted in is like ten times the national average :)

And before any smart Alec's start in with "well just use the mobile version of the site" I would say why should I - or anyone else - have to sacrifice the enjoyment of the full site because ONE PERSONS posts spoil the party?

Anyway like I said, I'm not looking to start a war, I just thought I'd share how your sig affects what is in every other way an enjoyable site. Maybe you can re-work it so that it just takes less vertical space? Or after a month and a hundred posts just assume that we have all seen your pictures enough times you can rest assured they have made all the impression they are going to?

That would be an even BETTER reason not to want to use the mobile version!

Apex, that sure is a lot of firepower! The only problem is distance. It was hard enough to get the beam from ONE laser to bullseye the camera lens from 35 feet away, but 4, 5 or more? Plus, at that distance, the lasers really do loose a lot of their punch.

A pellet, on the other hand, is just getting started at the 35 foot mark :-O

They lose power yes, but the trick is focus each one in for the distance beforehand and align them all individually and then turn them all on. Their combined power would be far more destructive then individually. I also think that having 3x 2W 445s alone would do most of the damage especially if I could get a nice bead on the lens with all three that's 6W+ alone. I need to get a couple more tiny tripods so I can set up a cool array for show and maybe to fry any spy cams I come across :D

Thought/suggestion...

You can use a browser add on to block elements of a website. It didn't really bother me, but I was able to block all four of those big pictures in FP's signature in ~6 seconds.

In my case I was using adblock plus, but I'm sure other options are out there.

So.... You are using a mobile device? What the hell are you whining about? Why should the rest of us, who have no problem with FP's signature, have to cater to you because you choose to not use the mobile version of LPF?

Ok, I just found an old webcam I didn't know I had and I am very temped to see what all of my lasers focused in on the lens would do at about 20 feet XD

I would have just put two poles in front of his cameras to block his view. However I must admit that your method makes this thread is far more entertaining!

Just be careful not to give your landlord a real reason to be upset with you.

Hmm... a tiny slobbered up paper wad in a straw expertly aimed at the lens would have been amusing too. The ground under the cameras would be littered with paper wads if I tried that because I know I'd miss a million times lol

Meh, lasers and water guns are more spectacular anyway

He said he saw a faint red glow coming from the rings of LEDs around the lenses... I thought.

A picture is worth 2,000 words (inflation):
