Hey guys,

Since I was little I've always been fascinated by laser pointers. I've had a bunch of lasers, but none over 10mw. Ive been looking online for a 532nm laser anywhere from 100-200mw. Unfortunately I am a recent college graduate and money is somewhat limited, so I was wondering if anyone could point me to a good quality, reliable laser priced anywhere from $80-150.

I am aware scifi lasers seems like the place I should start, but the 532nm model has been out of stock for quite some time.

Any suggestions on a safe/reliable website or specific laser I should check out?

Hey drop!

As a good starting point, do you have proper safety glasses agaisnt 532nm light? It is highly recommended you buy yourself a pair if need be since you are dealing with some pretty strong power at 80mW-100mW's.

If not, check these guys out. This is the same place I buy my glasses from :)

Hey Alex!

Thanks for the quick response. I have already ordered a pair of safety glasses from eBay. Should be here even before I get the laser. lol

Might want to give our buy/sell section a look. You can find some good deals. Thats how I was able to afford my green lasers.

Awesome!

As a heads up, most eBay glasses will do a crap job at protecting your eyes unfortunately and will be more useful as apparel. Do you have a link to the ones you bought?

^Blark King has a good point, there's some pretty neat stuff at times in the B/S/T section :D

I've never personally bought from them, but from comments I've read on the forums they are hit or miss. You can get a really good unit, or a crap shoot!

That's a good start, I'm glad you're not jumping in like so many others and wanting the most powerful handheld on the market.

Best of luck, I've had excellent dealing with SF Lasers.

Jetlasers make excellent products. They make a 532 pen laser that is quite good for a mere $79. Powerful,fast shipping, great service. Their T B though more expensive I've heard nothing but good things about.
Most here love their products.
