Common sense really, 200mw will burn better than 100mw. Be sure to get goggles, anything that can pop balloons will mess your eyes up pretty bad.

alright thats what i thought. i was just confused because i heard people say the shorter wavelengths have more power

No worries, and I think these "people" may have meant that 445nm wavelength diodes can go at much higher powers, like 2w etc. 405nm and 650nm are pretty similar, beam diameter etc, except one's voilet and ones red.
