well is it possible to get a little wristband hook at the end of the laser so it won't meet a hard place when we drop it?
Because round lasers are just bound to roll off the table at some point lol

We could probably put a hole for that. Would have to look at the clearance between the tailswitch and the inside of the tail cap.

After some added improvements to these host, they will likely be higher than the original $75, but if we do a batch, that might still be feasible, and some of the features may show you why:

They look beautiful Mr. Crouse! The contacts and switch look great and easy to work with  Looking forward to another Mr. Crouse creation.

I am interested in the finned focus adapter type.

These first 2 will cost a bit more than further models once we get a batch going, as these took about twice as long to produce. But you will save having to wait for orders to get collected. Plus you get the original build. ;) Although I'm tempted to keep these 2 pieces of history; marking our move into complete custom hosts!

Thanks, credit goes to my dad for all that work. The switch is retained by a cover that takes 2 screws (I think the second one threads into the tailcap instead?) and the contact board is also retained by 2 screws. So completely disassembly of all components can be down with a 1/16" allen wrench for the module, and a Philips screw driver. If there is ever an issue with the tailswitch, it is easily removable. Same with the contact board.

With this design, you can also just drop in an assembled DTR module with driver, and plug-and-play. I personally prefer these types of builds as they tend to be cleaner and less of a hassle.

Just a bit curious.
Do you do ergonomic hosts or those with a bit of FLAIR and FLAMBOYANCE and ALTITUDE!
Kinda like those REALLY fancy silverwares.

You know.... Something women like to see on the cofee table?

Anything is possible. Just need a drawing to go off of unless you want us to design something. All we need is a sketch of what you'd like, or some ideas.

Well just wanted to let you know that while I voted yes, after looking at my expenditures I need to move stuff out before getting any more stuff. I have bought altogether too much recently. I don't want you counting on something from me due to my vote. I voted before I thought about how much money I spent this month.

No problem. I'll be posting another thread in the B/S/T section to start orders on these then.
