IS the 20x long open can a much more powerful laser than the stock dilda diode? Are the emitter sizers the same.05? I have seen where a 20x open can achieve 300+mw of 650nm red laser power and the dilda is what 200-250mw max of 660nm over powered? So the 20x is better for burning then right??? Please help out if your knowledgeable on the diodes. THANKS.

i dont think the emitter size is that much different on any of those red diodes, nor do i think it would make a big difference?
the LOC diodes seem to be all the same, from the different drives. noone knows for sure though. as far as i remember, the dilda uses a LCC, similar or identical to the one from 6x br burners. those are a bit weaker than LOC.
..all just from memory and/or guessed! :)
