Have you tested these or are you just guessing whether they'll be good or not?

If only they were labelled as 1mW instead of 5mW, then they'd still have a chance of getting through customs :(

These are complete guesses, I just looked around for good deals shipped from the US. And you don't have to worry about customs for US-shipped items

There's a whole thread about different ebay sellers , I think none of the 5mW pens are actually 5mW , they produce IR that's more than 5mW :crackup:

Its a good read about 300+ replies!

Australia has VERY strict laws against >1mW laser pointers. Its origin doesn't phase this decision.

If you start categorizing ebay sellers then it's not much of a "try your luck" thing anymore... it's better if it's a complete leap of faith :p

If the product is shipping from the US then the item has already passed customs when it entered the US. Your ebay purchase will then just ship the item from the US warehouse
