DX Pen laser, cleaning question.

I was wondering if anyone had found a good way to clean the lens or outside filter on the DX black style pen lasers. I've stuck a q-tip down in there w/ cleaner and dried them a bit and still not having much luck, its hard to wiggle the qtip around once it gets in there to clean the entire thing? Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I hate that guy. Already did the q-tip thing but wont anymore. Cant take the cheap dx's apart like that to get to the lense.

Why not? It works fine for me.[/quote]

The q-tip may feel soft but it is actually very rough when you look at it up close. ;)
Just use compressed air it will work fine and air can't damage the lens.

I've used it on all kinds of lenses, glass and plastic, and in never failed to give me a nice, clean, dust free lens.
Hell, I've even used a clean cotton sock.
And window cleaner.

It works fine.
