Which DX 30mW green laser should I get?

I read about how good the true 30 was and liked the IR filter. So I ordered it thought it turns out it hasnt shipped ye.
Now I see that the ir filter doesnt exist anymore which means they are trying to save money and I feel like maybe they are also gonna save money and get a cheaper diode that doesnt emit 30mW.
Also I've been reading the romisen 30mW is really good. I just don't know which one.

so should I try to change my true 30 to the romisen 30?
i need recommendations QUICK before it ships please
and if the romisen...which one?

I vote L-B030, but mind, I have a DX True 30 and it works fine, slightly underpowered is all...

I voted the L-A030, thats thew one I have and its great, nice and sturdy build and its great for taking about with you .

Is the A030 as ugly as the DX pictures make it out to be? Cos it looks uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly. Same deal with the Dilda...

Its not that bad , its bigger than I expected it was though , I have a slightly different one from in the pics though, mines doesnt have the lens right at the end of the aperture, the lens on mines is further in.

its quite rugged to, mines has multiple dents on it from being dropped and it works perfect.

But it aint that bad lookin anyway, my friends are all wanting one, one of my mates is getting one next week, and hes ordering me batteries and a charger for mines aswell.

It's great for carrying on you wherever you go so you can amaze people with its green brilliance .

it seems to be between the true and the B romisen
no offense diachi but I can't stand how the A030 looks

so has anyone experienced both or does anyone know which one is better in terms of
beam divergence, power, build quality, which will last a longer lifespan, etc.
also does the true 30 over heat quickly or vice versa?
basically pros and cons of the two please...

time is running out before theyll ship my true 30

Damn that A030 is indeed ugly. Pointers and portables don't have to win design prizes as far as I'm concerned, but that thing looks ridiculous. I'd go for the B030.

I'd also need a cr123a battery correct?

I'm already getting this charger http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2031 for the dilda CR2s

what are good batteries from dx that will work with the romisen on a high power (i dont want it to be dim cuz of shitty or weak batteries), they have a lot of choices on dx...

i had heard problems about the true 30mw so i bought the L-B030 a couple weeks ago and it is currently in "foreign mail services" lol and i cant wait!!! it left hong kong on the 16th!!!!

I would get the True 30mW from DX because even though the button got a little wiggly, it seemed to fix itself.

and the IR shouldnt be a problem because its only 30mW anyways

How about durability and portability?
If I drop each on the floor what would happen?
and the B030... would I be able to keep that in my pocket?

If you look in the comments you'll see it charges CR123 also.
I just want to make sure voltage is right or whatnot

The B030 probably will be fine if you drop it. When I dropped my True 30 it completely fucked up and I had to take it apart and fix it up.

They won't work with that charger. The cr2 charger is made for charging 3V rcr2's and rcr123a's while the L-BO30 takes 3.6V RCR123A's.
