I bought 2 5mw lasers to use for playing with my cat, 1 green and 1 red...
They didnt list anything about a duty cycle.
I was figuring 5mw is just not enough power to build up enough heat to require a duty cycle, is this accurate?

On a side note, this is my first green laser and I just took it into my bathroom which has large mirrors the size of the wall, I made it reflect back and forth like 20 times and it looks amazing..... Cant wait for my stronger lasers to come in

The green will still overheat.  It may only be putting out 5mW, but the pump diode behind the crystal, is putting out 200mW of IR light (maybe more)

You should be able to run the red "chip" type laser until it blows or the batteries need replaced

Peace,
