hey i thought i'd give building another laser ago,
just really puzzled on were to start

what diode would best fit 17mm hole i can bore it out a little more if needed

its a replica i have another one to but a Russian Makorav 9mm

Want it?

and i think this ppk would look awesome as a laser gun it would have use :p

Did you get them from the collectors armoury by any chance?
I went there once in QLD.. I was in heaven!

I think the not so famous Kipkay built a PPK laser of some sorts but I can't really remember

Would look hektic all polished with a 635nm in it :p

EDIT: I believe I did get them from there cost me a fucking fortune for both about $500

That's what happens when you have no competitors I guess, Charge whatever you bloody well want to..

Thinking about it, It might be a little tricky because they don't have screws you can undo to get into the internals do they?

I'm not to sure about that I know there 1 or 2 to get to the magazine area from there I'm not sure never thought about taking it about till now cause the cocking mechanism is playing up

mag looks too slim for a battery, possibly use something like a cell phone battery since its slim but off the top of my head i dont know any that would fit. can you give specs of the mag and is it hollow, etc....

I can't give you the dimensions right now I'm in the car, but yes it's hollow :)

It would be pretty cool if I could make this gun rechargeable but this build is already way outta my league :p

looks like the ppk is openable, little bit difficult but she does :D

seems like enought room for Driver, Diode, Switch etc

if you pulled that out here in america you'd be screwed by the cops, not sure how strict they are down under about replica guns. i know how strict they are on lasers so if they are as strict on guns then you best be EXTRA careful not to get caught :beer:
