Been using the search function and Google, but still don't know which of the diodes used in our lasers are mutimode or single mode.
Can someone please give me a quick lesson on which are which?
I know now my 635 is a multimode, as are 445. I'm hoping on picking up an Arcane 462 soon. Is 462 a multimode? Is there a chart somewhere that tells which is which?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

Generally lower power diodes are single mode, higher powers are multi mode, but there can be exceptions to the rule. Low power 445nm diodes are singlemode, as are low power 635nm diodes. Only sure way to know is either check it's output, or the datasheet.
