I don't know if VHS Or Beta was better but VHS won, at the time I probably would have had more confidence in Sony, but that would have been the wrong choice. I remember reel to reel, now it's hard to believe we ever used such a thing, I never had one myself, but I remember at least 3 or 4 people that had one. I remember them being large and expensive. Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, wow that brings back memories. I was going to toss in one of my favorites by Wierd Al, but a Hookah-Smoking Caterpillar has given me the call, now I think I should go with something from long ago, how about this one:

Yes she sure looked good back then, hard to believe that was over 46 years ago (August 17, 1969), probably not something some of us want to think about. This is reminding me of Madonna now and what she looked like early on, I remember when I first saw a video of her on MTV and I thought wow! We are going to see more from her. And that brings us back again to Weird Al, here is one of my top 3 favorites of his, notice that it borrows from not just one but two of the earliest Madonna videos:

For those who don't know, here are links to Madonna's videos, they were in fact her first 2 videos and I remember watching them when they first aired on MTV before anyone knew who she was.

I got to see her live at the Kingdome in Seattle in the late 1980's. The Kingdome no longer exists, it was an indoor stadium that could seat 65000. The first concert I attended there was Peter Frampton/Foghat/J Geils Band, that was an adventure, I later saw Led Zeppelin there, that was more of an adventure, I also saw Evil Knievel set a world record there jumping Greyhound busses.

PI,
That's was a blast he's still funny every time i see him. When he first came on the scene i thought he was a one hit wonder. But he kept pumping these vids outdone by one. Madonna still looks good for her age got some mileage on her but who doesn't..I never seen her on concert ,but i seen all the groups listed here ,but for Evil. You keep pulling these vidsout of your hat and that's awesome to see the past again now a days and say hey i remember that!!! Keep up the vid hunt it's so cool.

I think it will be really neat to see/hear people listening to Led Zep, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Rush and so on when they are 80 years old. I know I will be!!
