It is just as safe as anywhere else, I have been buying from them for about 5 years now and they have a pretty good track record in my book :D

Yup DX is good. Same as Kaidomain, fasttech etc all cheap sites with free shipping, but long 2 + week waiting times.

Edit: FP beat me to it...;)

DX is not too bad...usually it's important to read the reviews, buying stuff off established sellers there etc. Ideal for cheap things/gadgets/flashlights and so on...

The waiting time is PITA sometimes, but one can bite through it;).

It's safe, but it is not laser company. They sell anything they get their hands onto.

Dude, I ordered something from DX and it came in DOA (dead on arrival) , they made it impossible to return the item, so eventually I gave up. $40 wasted. :(

In my experience they have been good, If you can wait 2-5 weeks they will come through. And yeah as JTBA said his item was DOA well it does happen. And it sucks its tough to contact them but worst case you pay through paypal so your covered :)

I haven't recently ordered at DX, but it's been pretty good for me, just don't have Cutter expectations. :)

i ordered from DX once, and honestly, experience was fine. good,, even. i ordered a "500 mW" green laser (lies, was like 150 mW max, but still a pretty sick laser...i may buy another) and it arrived within the estimated time, and was in perfect condition when i got it, worked perfectly up until the point i took it apart and broke it...but whatever :D

I ordered from dx within the last three months. Everything came as described, my one question was answered promptly by customer service, and nothing was DOA. Overall, it was a good experience, just realize that shipping will take a month (or at least did for me) and higher (100+ mw) power lasers will probably be under spec.

Good site, if they mess up your order don't bother with their ticket system, just use paypal dispute. They never responded to my tickets :(

You can get most stuff that they sell for cheaper on ebay.

Correct, I do not buy lasers from them, they do have some cool gadgets and I do buy a lot of different LED items from them, they are a re-seller they manufacture nothing.
