i've had dead diodes before (but not a dead LOC)

i think i may have killed it, but i can still shine it on the wall like 25 feet away
it was set at 420mA with glass lens......is it normal to be able to see it on the wall from that far away (focused)

i'll just assume that it's dead......
doesn't bother me at all though, since finally it was not an error on my parts that killed it....

Maybe some of the power of the the laser reflected off the glass lens and burnt the diodes to a crispy crunchy diode of yummyness.

Maybe you just let it stay on for too long.

Proberly got a shitty diode though...
