If you really want to try get the word out, then maybe go to every darkarmyofone scam thread and add tags relating to lasermaster, hackforums, darkarmyofone and scammer.

That way whenever someone searches those words on google, all his scam threads will be brought to the top ;)

Cheers,
Dan

I made that thread :)

He can't sell now, and he's trying to suck up to me LOL!

Anyone else notice this in one of his threads on HF?

I think someone needs to get the FDA onto him. It may make our hobby look a little worse, but this guy definitely needs to steer wayy clear of lasers if he's putting even his own children at risk.

Cheers,
Dan

I know, he's got some serious issues, he was just selling to 14y olds ridiculous over-powered illegal lasers, but somewhat under-powered compared to what he labelled them at.

I know many people here have his address, I'm sure a little FDA visit isn't out of the question.

Even if they just took his lasers, he'd still be hundreds of dollars out of hand. Probably the end to his business. Not to mention he'd probably have a record too.

I've already stopped his business ^^

I'm pretty sure the FDA will visit him soon, they already have before.

He's PM'ed me, you've broke me, and all my sales, lol!

99.9 % of lasers here, if sold would be illegal.
There are tons of stuff for sale on FS and Laser Pro Shop that are illegal- what's new? The laws cover the sale of the lasers, not purchase and construction.
OK Federal Agents at your door is maybe new, but it's all in the Regs.
An illegal 5.1mW laser pointer is not dangerous, and I agree a seller can be selling dangerous goods. And new laws many don't know about since 9/11. HecK, here in California, it is illegal to sell any laser to a minor (even a classIIIa leagal unit), and the ill written law actually bans lasers from school grounds. I have not seen any "Laser Free School Zone " signs however. But laws like this could limit education of lasers in science classes, etc.
Anyway, I agree, any scammer should go, and good the site is down!

I am going to quote myself from your other thread in hopes that you see one of my posts so that you will be aware of what you are involved in.

I thought they were FDA approved, as soon as I learned who he was by reading about him here, I immediately, gained my website back after he tried stealing it off me, and then I shut them down.

Some lasers are FDA approved but hobby lasers are not. Most sales here are from one hobbiest to another VS from one shady dude to a 13 year old who stole his mom credit card. Where it gets really dangerous is having an online store because if you have an online store selling lasers you cant claim its a hobby. Its a business. You probably did him good actually by taking down the website, otherwise he would surely have been caught by the FDA.
