Hi, I have some questions about the best laser which is able tu burn plastic/wood at considerable distance (for ex. approx 10 meters).
My initial considerations is that CO2 lasers are better for the higest starting power and have also the best price for mW but diverges terribly and require a lot of attentions. I think that the best beam is due to green lab lasers but the common lab modules have a bad divergence also (I don't know why)...
Some professionals green handled lasers have small divergence but start with few mw (400 maximum). Do you have some suggestions???

Thanks

To burn plastic for industrial purposes you can go with a high powered IR laser (lab, of course).
I wouldn't recommend green for burning more than the regular pointer stuff.

BUT if you want it green you can always just get an RPL and an X10DR.
