Stupac, where are you from? "Stupac" means "coloumn" in Croatian language :p

Anyhow, don't trust description of lasers in ANY cheapo generic chinese sites like DX and that sort. They always inflate the power greatly. Well, reading description is always good for a laugh.

5,000mW GREEN laser
405nm Wavelength
"Simply press the button to activate the green-violet laser pointer"
Powered by AAA batteries
2 x rechargeable batteries
"one is enough, the other one just for spare battery"

A 5,000 mW green-violet laser pointer that runs off one AAA rechargeable battery. That's one impressive AAA battery to single-handedly power the 20+ Watt IR diode that would have to be inside this thing!

I think there is a much more reasonable explanation - The driver simply has an efficiency of significantly greater than 100% :)

Haha, thats interesting:crackup::crackup:.

I'm from Glasgow in Scotland, my name is Stuart and a fried jokingly called me Stupac after the rapper "Tupac". I just found it quite funny although I'm not even a fan of rap music. :crackup:
