Hey guys

I bought a 700mW 405nm from amazon.

I want to add it to my CNC Mill for light engraving and exposing PCBs.
For this, I need to attach the module to a fixture which holds it in the center of the machine holder. (43mm diameter)

My problem is that I do not know if my planned cooling solution will be sufficient.

I hope you understand my sketch.
The plan is to mill a wooden fixture for the "holding".
On this I want to attach the alumium (4mm thick)which is in contact with the copper part of the lasermodule.
On the aluminium I am going to glue (with thermal adhesive) some fins, for bigger surface.

What do you think, could this be sufficient?
Or do I need to make a all-aluminium, bigger surface (or peltier cooled) fixture?

***
I am going to use the module for periods of about 15 minutes normally, sometimes for longer periods of maximum one hour or so. This means the cooling needs to be able to keep the module on a constant temperature.

Regards
me ;)

Definitely not enough for passive cooling, maybe with a good fan but I still think that's pushing it.
