a easy kit to do some soldering needed  :) here are some pixs

Well that is pretty neat. I would imagine the laser that comes with it is not very good, but to teach basic electronics and soldering skills and use your own higher powered laser, that seems like a good deal.

i don't even think a laser came with it? i made a kit like that once, and i put a 1mw red laser in it, i thought it was awesome at the time, but the resistors got very hot :eek:

ya i thought it was cool that it was a kit not a preassemble unit. it gives a new laserist hands on. here is a pix of the paderns.

Pretty nice to learn but you can do one for much cheaper with a lot less parts.
