Are laser pointers continuous or pulse?

Yea, but you're not, you're probably ask something like $600 The sonar 2 uses a 2x burner diode...what a waste.WL is unaware of the 803T diode, or the $270 6x burner on ebayAlso, I think the sonar II from wicked it something ridiculous like $2000 for 60mW of pulsed 405nm light. I could build someone a CW 405nm laser with close to 200mW for around $400.

Why they are most powerful?
Switch said:I see they're making the blue lasers pulsed (Dragon BP, Aurora...) .Perhaps because the instability of the DPSS process? :-/ But most of them are CW, and I have yet to see a DIY build with a pulse circuit.
