Yeah I had been planning the idea for a while. I have been drawing out designs for a good long while now.

Bear in mind that 900mW is with a G lens. And the reason DTR doesn't stock them is that they are are pretty much impossible to get in any sort of bulk numbers. Feel free to PM him, although he is very busy so don't expect a fast reply.

Wow, so since i took the plunge and joined this community, theres a minimum few days a week im thinking about laser related things. I now have a few packages arriving each month, from china and all over really. Since i started, ive purchased a few rolls of wire, a new roll of solder, a new soldering iron, a helping hands thing from radio shack, a blank protoboard from radioshack, 60 blank battery contact boards, 40 clicky switchs, 5 key switchs, several flashlights which have been dissassembled and sit in pieces in a box, 5 22600 batteries, 10 18650 batteries, 2 18350 batteries, a few lasers from ebay, a few lasers from people on these forums....

and my collection of shit to build keeps growing, and to make it all worse, i work as a CNC machinist, so i constantly get rassed at work from the guys cuz im always talking about lasers at work, and always staying late to cut some scrap into heat sinks etc etc....

when will it all end... i love it tho, nothing gives me greater joy now than turning on a freshly built laser, or spotting that perfect flashlight i can convert, or just grabbing that first laser i ever baught and shining it up into the night ^^

I may not be as active a poster as some here, but dont get me wrong, i do plenty of 'refreshing' on different sections lol, yall know what i mean

Man, i know what your talking about. i didnt really take inventory and list um all, but im pretty sure ive got a few sizes and quantities of them, that i dont even have hosts or lasers for!!, like im stocking on just for future cases lol

My addiction has gone to a whole 'mother level as of late...

Over the weekend I converted my main workbench to be an optical bench - approx 5' X 3' workspace. I have ordered two more kinematic mounts and just today I ordered another Beckman laser module to scavenge the Argon from... And I only have plans for more more more!!
