You can use this to combine red and CO2 beams to use the red for aiming, but I don't even know where to begin to align it dead on.
CO2 lasers are very focusable, you just need expensive ZnSe lenses.

Lawlz at the 80's cameras, you could practically mount a small CO2 tube with a cooling loop, power supply, and batteries in some of the deeper ones. That would be interesting. Hold still while I take a film, don't mind you're eyebrows melting
