Cell phone laser host?

Has anyone ever used a cell phone as a host?  I always have 4 -5 cells in the junk drawer at the house.  They have a rechargable Li-Ion battery built in (which the one I'm looking at now is 3.7V, 800mAh).

Heck, I even have a few at home that already has a built in front-firing LED flashlight.  (Nokia 1100).

Come on... no one has given this any thought? I thought it was a pretty decent idea. :-[

The only cell phones that I have are way to small. I can't picture it working. Give it a try though, I bet it would be pretty sweet.

I did this with a red pen 5mW I had from market stall so I could hide it from my teacher.. ahh good times. It works ok, but not the best host because of size and shape. Works well to conceal small lasers when you just want to piss someone off.
