Off topic. Just got my first cell phone jammer in the mail from china yesterday. Took me a week or more of extensive research to find the best, non novelty, real-deal jammer, with correct frequencies, from a reliable source, and for the right price.

The one I acquired is absolutely amazing. Beyond my expectations. The range is 5-20meters and it does it without a problem. Way fun to use, I've got ppl at my work bugging out in the break room because they can't use the internet on their phone etc...

Just thought I would share this in case there were others out there who were interested in a cell phone jammer but didn't know where to look, save someone some research.

Price was $135 with free priority 2-day shipping, made it to me in new York in 5 days, no customs delay! And its from a related company to the actual manufacturer. If anyone wants a link hit me up, I'll point you in the right direction!

What's a practical use? to have when robbing a bank so no one can call the cops until after you're gone? (I think the panic buttons would still get ya)

4 BAND WIRELESS Bomb JAMMER/Signal Block-in Other Consumer Electronics from Consumer Electronics on Aliexpress.com

There are several listings for what appears to be the same product, which is one thing that always sketched me out about buying on aliexpress, chinese counterfeits etc, even chinese counterfeit of chinese items LOL....

Before i purchased, i talked to the seller "Andy" on skype for a while and made sure i was sent photos of the actual item, and got as much info as i could before actually purchasing.

I was nervous because there are 2 feedbacks posted that said the buyer received an item different than pictured, and when speaking to the seller on skype he informed me that HIS company sells 1 product which is nearly identical to the item pictured, but HIS product cost $120 and the one pictured was $135 and in my opinion appeared to be superior, so i specified that i wanted the "Wolvesfleet" model shown in the pictures.

Say your in the movie theatre and some jackass is on their phone?

Say your in line at walmart and some teenager is taking FOREVER because they are gabbing on their phone?

Say your in the mall and the exit to that hat store your in is being blocked by a crowd of girls all on their cell phone?

Say you have someone at work that insists on sitting next to you in the break room and watching youtube videos on their phone at full volume while your trying to enjoy your break (which is my scenario lol)

Some schools want to use them to keep students from texting during class. I believe that it's illegal to use them outside of your home or place of business, so if you were using it while waiting outside for a bus, that'd be illegal.

I just re-checked. Some places say that the privacy rights of property owners can affect the policy and application of law within buildings.

yes but, from Mobile phone jammer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

United States: Cell phone blocking devices are used by federal officials under certain circumstances.[citation needed] Privacy rights of property owners may affect the policy and application of law within buildings[citation needed]. For radio communications, it is illegal to operate, manufacture, import, or offer for sale, including advertising (Communications Act of 1934).[12] Blocking radio communications in public can carry fines of up to $112,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.[13] The Homeland Security Act of 2002 may override the Communications Act of 1934

That last line is what concerns me. Im assuming that just like with the patriot act, our awesome government can now do as they please with certain "acts" trumping your rights.

That's how it is. People don't complain about it that often, so no one really cares that much when the Patriot Act walks all over our freedoms with muddy jackboots.
