Hey guys! I wanted to do a small contest for fun. So here's how it goes. You get some good shots of your lasers and post them here. One entry each. A maximum of three lasers per pic. Once submitted you wait and on August 10th I will find the 3 pics I enjoy most and those will be the winners. Now to the prizes!

1st place: red laser gun sight and assorted diodes I will pull from DVD and cd burners
2nd and 3rd place: red laser pointers.
I know not the biggest prizes ever but at least it's something.

Subbing so I remember to update this post with my three entries :D

EDIT: First Entry and IMO cool as heck and almost impossible to replicate the "J" anomaly

I am sorry for not having big prizes but the 1st place gunsight can be hooked to a 9v for a super bright red. And amongst the diodes is probably ir diodes for those that like ir lasers :)

IMO the prizes are fine. Is the 1st prize a gun sight that connects to a weaver rail? Kinda always wanted one of those lasers anyways. I want to get a P25 flashlight and its got a weaver rail pievce on it so then I can have a flahlight andn laser in one :D

Yes it is :) I live for things to put on my rails. But I figured I would buy a fresh one for this contest. Can't wait to see those entries :)

You said the photo can have up to 3 lasers in it. Can it have optics in it such as diffraction gratings, mirrors, prisms, etc in it, or do you want just 3 beams?

He bends the light, divides it into hundred lights and re-bends it against a free standing mirror which reflect it to another hundreds of thousands of beams which he captures one by one.. This is not even where he begins..
P.S: Beams are made from pure gold in some photos.
