buy or borrow an air mattress- sleep on it a few nights in the same room to see if there is a change- take all your medical mojo and send it to me for testing under clinical conditions. I will return any left over.

I dont suppose you have a GF sleeping in your bed with the same things happening-- ??

Dude! That's not the right way to conduct a double blind test.

Better go ahead and send me some too.

Alright. Seeing as most people who are posting are not serious. I'll be serious.

Now let's take a minute to look over the situation.

Now to my knowledge. The only possible laser that could be burning you and you not be aware of where it is being directed from would be an invisible wavelength. Let's just say for the sake of simplicity that it IS an invisible laser that is burning you. First off most IR wavelengths have a low absorbtion into human skin meaning you would need someone literally with a gigantic "multi thousand doller system" in order for you to even feel a sting. Handheld? No chance.

Now that we have ruled out the possibility of a handheld system. Let's say for example that maybe someone DID have a system like the one I've mentioned. Let me just say that if they did. Your apartment would have burst into flames. Because even though human skin doesn't absorb IR wavelengths well. Other objects will absorb large amounts. So if someone did have a system like that. You'd be in some serious trouble.

Okay now that handheld lasers and industrial systems have been covered. Let's just say that maybe we ARE dealing with a laser here (which right now would be EXTREMELY unlikely).

Lasers do NOT passively pass through walls then suddenly absorb into human skin. Sorry but you arent dealing with any sort of laser.

What you are describing pretty much defies most laws of physics from one angle or another. So perhaps from a technical standpoint you aren't dealing with any sort of torture device. If you are... well I've sure never heard of anything like it.

So now that technology can be set aside (lasers especially). What does that mean?

Well personally I have a hard time believing you are crazy. Everyone has a little crazy in them. Maybe you are just missing something is all. There could be all sorts of other more probable solutions to this. Some were mentioned. Bed bugs, fleas, maybe a skin disorder, parasites, muscle spasms, nerve spasms, neurological problems... Medically it could be endless.

So what I'm saying is maybe you take peoples advice here and not be so paranoid. Sit back. Relax. Maybe get some good rest!

Be sure to keep us updated!

He's got fleas dude. I think he should really start looking into pest control. My dog brought them inside and same thing happened to me. Minus all the crazy $#!T fleas suck (literally) call pest control.

Hey! I was at least 85% serious :tinfoil: If a mirror helped him, reflective tinfoil might too... at worst it does nothing and he is out $10-$20 in foil. At best, placebo effect ;)

Was very serious about mattress and bed bugs/mites. Fleas didn't even occur to me... they are small but not THAT small... meaning if that's the problem, he should be able to see or feel them.

Hak's idea of an air mattress is actually really good, considering they are cheap.

(Aside - I just recently replaced my 6 year old mattress with a new one... sleeping quite a bit better :))

I must agree here. There ARE sub millimeter wavelengths which CAN cause effects as described, in most of the bodily areas he describes. If for whatever reason, your apartment is being bombarded with these microwaves, thick bedding, clothing, and maybe a little metal shield (lookup faraday cage) should be able to easily protect you. I'll give you a shot to do this on his own. It will be a good science experiment. If what I prescribe works, problem solved. If not - I can tell you there is no laser/radio/microwave device being used on you. At least, perhaps it can put your mind at ease.

There's that small chance he's sitting in the middle of a room with nothing but an air mattress, a bunch of tinfoil, his microwaves on low power, and his bong. Slowly rocking back and forth.....

You guys are terrible. Troll or not. Remind me never to post stuff like this. I'm sorry bit I just can't help but feel bad. He came here for what he believes was a laser problem and asked for help and he got little help and a lot of crude humor.

Unless I'm missing something here. If so please fill me in.

If this is a troll post. Then shame on the OP and me.

Question, if one helps, and trolls at the same exact time, is that still a troll? :tinfoil:

I vote no.
I just have a hard time believing the OP is serious. If he is than:thinking: I guess air mattress? I don't know....

Hi guys,

Sorry I have not responded yet. I'm on day three of very little sleep because of this harassment. Even now as I try to type, someone is tapping on my floor and shaking my bed. I'm going to my parent's house to use their computer to respond to each of your posts. Thanks for your patience with me...:yabbem:

I agree with the posters suggesting pests (fleas & ESPECIALLY bedbugs). From what I've been reading lately, the upper N.E. part of the U.S. especially NEW YORK, have seen a recent surge in bed bug infestations. I'd look into a reputable pest control company, at least for a check up of your apt.

If that's not the case, then I vote ALIEN PRESENCE!!!! lol

Seriously though, have a pest control Co. come by for a check.
