Trying to find wholesale/cheap good lasers. My friends family works at a swapmeet.
And I was thinking of buying lasers to sell. I want to pay $80 at most per laser.
But I would also love to pay less than that. I want to get reds blues and greens. And
I am going to build some as well. But that is a little more expensive. But please if anyone
Has any or knows of a website please let me know.

Obviously you have not done any research or you wouldnt have made this statement:

I am going to build some as well. But that is a little more expensive

I suggest you DO NOT do this. You are going to give laser hobbyist an even worst name! Lasers are not a toy, they are not something to mess around with and by selling them at swap meets you are guaranteed to sell one to immature humans who will shine them at people and/or vehicles. BTW that is a FELONY and if they get caught you can be considered an accessory in the FELONY......AKA you get charged with the FELONY as well. JUST SAYING......selling lasers to idiots is a stupid move and will make you an idiot by association.

I agree with every word of the above. This kind of thing is quite literally the reason we have so many laws and restrictions already.

My suggestion is stick to small pen lasers from ebay until you can dedicate many hours of study and research over weeks of time. Start by researching safety and then look into the actual information on building before you can even consider selling.

this insults my intelligence but what in the hell is a swap meet? i agree with the above two. you dont hand out guns to idiots so why would you hand out a dangerous laser?

swap meet is the same thing as a flea market, large scale yard sale, etc.....

Thank you. this whole FDA nonsense as of today is total BS. they might as well ban blu ray, DVD, DVD burners, light shows, concerts, and me.

Yeah, thats why im not to worried about it. IMO its a bunch of blown smoke and its not the first time the FDA has done it so to me im not worried. Im more worried about people who want to start a business selling lasers to uneducated buyers. Lasers, if not handled properly, are illegal and can lead to a FELONY! People dont realize this......you wont go to jail, you will go to a state prison........real time, HARD TIME!!!!! Think twice about starting a laser business. BTW i can promise you, if your lasers are above $20, people at flea markets wont buy them. Also if they use special batteries (which 95% of lasers do) then people wont buy them. Its a flawed business from the start.........

Living loud, I ordered an overseas laser for funzies an hour or so ago. What are the chances of it making through customs?

It sort of depends on who its from. Some websites are black listed so they are checked more often while others are not. Either way though most lasers get through US customs NP, especially if there isn't a battery in the package and if they don't write LASER all over it.

If you lived in Australia on the other hand I would say good luck XD
