Burning steel wool

I've never tried it. Any special precautions? Using an Arctic 445 2Watt with burning lens. Bee pretty close to the magnified beam. I'll be using my Eagle Pair OD4+.
Thanks in advance for any tips. Safety first.

That should be more than enough, if I remember correctly steel wool will ignite around 300mW.

I never even thought of burning steel wool, now I wish I had some to try it. 2W of 445 should be plenty. Take a video if you can, if not then a photo or two if possible.
