hi, havnt been keeping up with lasers for a while now but i just got a job so i got money to burn on lasers xD

last time i was upto date everyone was buying up all the HD-DVD writer drives for like $20 and taking the 100mW diodes out of them. i was gutted as i just paid $35 for a PS3 replacement sled that only gave 30mW or so.

i also remeber some website rck(something) that popped up just before i stopped making lasers who sold tiny drivers for next to nothing but i couldnt find his site as i dont fully remeber the name.

so basically i want to know whats the best way currently to make the highest powered lasers of any wavelength and also that website that i forgot the name of :)

thanks.

Check the stickys in the Buy/Sell/Trade board. Then read through the board to get an idea of what's available now.

Time is money and Rkcstr puts a lot of what little spare time he has into those tiny technological treasures. For someone like me who has absolutely no clue when it comes to electronics they are worth every penny.  ;)
