I have found that you can use the Deadal circuit as a motor speed controller for laser light shows. It works much better than just a potentiometer. Also you will wanna leave the protection diode in the circuit as it will prevent reverse polarity damage and have a large pot as well.

(note the cap in the pic is backwards)

Anyways, on to my question, I have a small mirror that I wanna cut into small 1cm square or circle for a 3 motor DIY laser light show projector. What is the best way to cut glass without shattering it? I was thinking of scoring it with my Dremel then do a clean break. What are your experiences with this?

thanx

a scoring tool would get you straight lines easy... you just have to hope the reflective stuff on the back wont flake off. maybe try scoring it with something sharp and hard.
if you cut it into a square, you might be able to cut it a little more and make an octagon. i really don't know how easy a circle can be done.
i had to cut glass for a project in school once... just score it and bend it
