Doesn't matter how much they cost I'm not looking to buy. Just want to see what the best looking hosts out there are. I know Wicked Lasers make some really nice ones. I was gonna get the Core but they don't sell it anymore so oh well. :rolleyes:

I've been lurking since 2011 and this is my first post. Crazy.

Welcome! We're glad to have you here. One of my favorite hosts is the Survival Laser S4X. I have a 470nm build in one, and it is most definitely not disappointing. :)

I personally just like to build my own host. Makes them much more customizeable. And yea I have been a member of this forum for 9 years but only have a few post lol

This is my favorite design of mine. I made a few safety features for pocket carry. The diffused led lights indicate when the power is on and it is ready to shine also I added a small beeper and coated it in hot glue to make it more quiet. It sounds much like a capacitor whine. I added this so if the power turned on in my pocket, I can hear it. There is a 5mw red laser for aiming so it is easier to tell where it will go. I also got tired of burning my fingers while adjusting the lens so I added a gearbox motor that moves the lens with a timing belt. The motor can go both ways on a dpdt momentary switch. To shine the laser you pull the trigger like momentary on switch.

I thought that Maraxus/DTR combo. sounded familiar, it is one of my favorites also. :D

A couple of my other favorites are this S.S. host shown below, and of course, my all time favorite is the J/L Ti-B titanium!

And you don't have to wait 3 months and put up with threats, you can buy these now and have then in days to a few weeks if buying vape mods from China, but there are many and soon people will build them, heck a 510 adaptor is easy to adapt to a flashlight.
