hello there
i would like to see if we can make cheap but effective no nonsense laser for most of the of the popular NM so the challenge is to make the best laser for the money preferably that burns this would be so cool and it would be great for some one who new what he wanted just did not know how to go about doing it (cough cough like me ) but really have you guys been to some of the sites that sell lasers of course you have theres like tons of different variations but usually you only want one that burns a few things then you find what you want and it costs 300 bucks,i say we try and make the strongest, slightly durable, burning laser that does not cost a fortune thats my challenge to you guys

Well... That's what most of us have been doing. This is a very DIY orientated forum, that also focuses on professionally bought lasers too. Where do you live? Parts for lasers can be ordered online and a lot of the kits can be bought here on the forum from members here.

I would be willing to do it if you are located in Australia, otherwise there are many member that will defiantly help you out.

i dont think you are catching my drift i want to help collaborate on a kit that can be made to a inexpensive burning laser and then modify it to work well the top favorite spectrum that way people that are new and interested in lasers dont go and buy something that may detour them from there next purchase, and no i live in Texas

So your basically saying you want to help make a list of parts needed to make a burning laser in the main laser colours... if so:

1. you OP does not include anything to suggest that.
2. there are stickies you can read that explain what each part of the laser system does
3. there are tutorial thread explaining how to use each part for their specific function
4. there are threads for complete noobs... search "i want to make a laser thread"
5. there are tutorials for already made kits and how to integrate a laser system into the kit.

I think you need to be introduced to your new friend, the search bar!

Do some reading, and see what you think. Its not that hard to grasp, but if you need any further assistance please feel free to send me a PM and I'll try help you best I can.

i know all that i need to know to maybe make a decent laser but i want to help make an awesome one for the best price, a laser it self is a simple idea but with all the kits that are not really that much better from the other you could be wasting money i dont want that for me or any one else

Do you know what a run-on sentence is, mister asianmann?

Come on, go easy on him.
Here he is, being all helpful and showing up with a great idea no one here had thought of before, and you just pounce on his grammar.

Instead you should tell him how grateful we are for his idea of getting together a good DIY kit instead of bad ones. ;)

HERE --YOU NEED THESE ,,,, ...... & CAPS. You only have 4 posts and afaik, none are an intro posted in the welcome section-- I like to get intro'd before I help especially when most of what you are seeking is already in the search--

I'm not sure I'm following either... there are dozens of high quality kits available for incredible prices. Have you visited the Laser Pro Shop section yet?

Maybe He wants to have complete kits to sell for all wavelengths currently available in a Diode.

Just a thought.
