Best AAA batteries for my laser?

..i habe the 2 model of best nimh batteries. buy the sanyo 1000mah...and the maha powerex 1000mah... they are batteries that have MORE THAN 1000mah. they discharge in 4 months...
if oyu wwant a LSF battery buy sanyo eneloop 800mah or maha imedion 800mah they can last over 1 year... on a single charge

I have 1000mAh duracells, they work great in my 5mW and the best in my 150mW depends, what power is your laser?

Have you tested them in a laser similar to what Halascus has? I'm in the same boat as him. I have a >95mw CNI pen (doing ~135mw), though batteries don't want to last two long. Both standard alkaline and rechargeable NIMH Energizers.

Ihad a pair of AAA ENELOOPS in a laser ~150mW's that I used frequently for over a week on a single charge, then took them out & put them in my digital camera & took a lot of PIX over the HOLIDAYS WITH the flash, & they are STILL working just fine.----rob

Hey are there rechargable AAA's that are 3.7v+? I am going to put all my lasers in the flashlight hosts, and some require 3xAAA's. Its the Lm317 driver, so it requires more. i already know there are the 3.7v CR's and AA's...any AAA's?

Very commonly used here...
They are called 10440's. Which means 10mm X 44mm.
3 X 10440's with a DDL driver (LM317) will do the trick for you...

Ha funny, ive seen them many times, but buy the size in the pics, i figured they were AA's. Thanks for the clarification!

You can always use just one of the 10440's & a spacer. The additional 0.7 Volts will give you a bit more power, & I've never had any problem with the extra 0.7 Volts hurting the driver OR diode.------------ rob

I was in the same spot as you when I was getting my first greenie. I wanted the absolute best batteries, even though truly any big brand battery will give you the best. I used expensive lithiums hoping they would give me the power I desire, but by testing lithiums chruned out less power. You just need some full energizers or duracells, and your fine.
Definitely look into getting rechargeables, a mistake I made. In just 2 weeks i spent about 20$ in single use batts, its a waste of money.
