Hey everyone. I want to get a very nice green5mW laser that is bright(see beam at night) and is durable. My previous one I only had for a couple days but it then stopped working so I returned it and got a refund. So any ideas?(later I am planning on getting a 50 mW but want to get more used to lasers first)oh and I want to point out stars with it

Hey votazap!

You can always go to
"JetLasers.org" good prices, nice staff and very excellent and durable lasers.

If that dosen't fit you're blood you can always ask members on the forums, Im sure there will be some Green 5mW laser selling.

Goodluck!

Msg me if you need any additional help.

well you got a ripper on that one i got the same unit exactly except mine is about 40mW which is less than most of my eBay pointers that have continued to work well. Three days no wonder you guys (Americans) don't worry much about customs they don't have the time to check. Took me nearly three weeks and i argued with the guy as he said lights matches etc but its a dud ...said to send it back for replacement. Which is useless as postage Australia for anything is $17:50 overseas minimum on a laser that cost not much more .....it must be the new politics that is working ...remember the little people lol that are crawling along ..

I am considering the lyra c5, can you see the beam at night? Is it worth the $60 that laserglow is charging?

Laser glow won't ship handhelds to America from what I hear. Or is that over 5mw?

Ahh thank you. But $60 for a laser glow product? That sounds good to me, but honestly I'm not the guy to give you this answer so ill step aside for a more laser glow qualified member. Ever tried dragonlasers? Give them a look if you haven't already. I have had great experiences with them and they carry CNi products. Very good quality.

Yes they look like very high quality lasers but they are a little too powerful, I am going to spend a couple months getting used to a 5mW and then I am going to upgrade to 30-100mW

I can totally respect that. My second was dragons 1w spartan. Luckily I didn't hurt myself or anyone but I learned safety in a hurry. Burned fingers equal good teacher . I'm glad to see someone going about it the right way. +1 rep when the system allows
