The battery thing is confusing me.

So I ordered these...

I basically wanted "upgrade" batteries for my dilda. I heard the stock ones are 3.0 volts, but actually overcharge to 3.6v with the stock charger. The upgrade ones are 3.6v batteries that charge to 4.2. Now, someone suggested that there batteries are the "upgrade" ones but the charger that they come with is for the stock batteries so these will only charge up to 3.6.

Can someone clarify this? Are these batts + charger the "upgrade" ones or not?

Ok..as I gathered from lurking around this forum for quite some time is that silence means you asked something stupid. I'm not calling you stupid, its just and overall observation. I would assume by the silence the answer is no.

not really. I'm pretty sure the chargers doesn't matter, it's the batts the matter because they're rated to go to 4.2v. I'll test it with a volt meter when they arrive.

I reread your post about 5 times, and I'm still not sure what your asking. I've never heard of "upgrade" batteries.

I mean batts that operate at 3.6v-4.2v instead of ones that operate at 3.0-3.6v. These 3.6v-4.2v produce more current which should in theory make for a more powerful dilda.

High voltage doesn't equal more current.

You'll be running your laser at 2.4v more than the laser was intended to handle. Sure it'll be stronger, but it will also die a lot faster.

So to answer your question, yes, these batteries will have a higher voltage fresh off the charger.
