Hello,

I recently purchased a 445nm 2W Blue Laser Pointer and now need to get some batteries for it. The laser requires two (2) x 16340 Li-ion batteries (3.7v).

**I've already searched this forum to learn about which (quality) battery brands and chargers are recommended** However, I'm not sure what actual capacity level (mAh) is ideal.. (I'm finding them ranging between 650mAh to 1300mAh, some even claiming to be 2000mAh.)

Can someone please point me in the right direction of what exact batteries I should get for my specific laser???

:thanks:

*Here's the exact model and website I bought from:

A good charger that is not too expensive and has some good features is the Nitecore I4 or I2 or
for a couple dollars more the Nitecore D4 or D2, have a look into those chargers for a starter,
The charger you linked are very basic and can be very dangerous too,
I highly recommend not to use it! maybe open it up so you can see how cheap and nasty it is then bin it,
Just for a learning..

Okay, cool. That's sort of what I figured... Thank you, I'll pick up a Nitecore charger!

most batteries with "fire" in the name get frowned upon here, although i must say i have a pair of 16340 and pair of 18350 "trustfire flames" and they perform quite well, but i am NOT recomending them at all!
To Be honest i would look for some AW or Efest batteries, try get them from a reputable seller too
