Recently, I posted an honest inquiry about a serious question I have relating to pen pointers sold online. Danguin has deleted my thread without confirming the integrity of my post. Because I have respect for this forum and its users, I will not disclose the subject matter of my previous post and was wondering if I could e-mail anyone on here in private to assist me in answering my genuine questions, without having to be labeled as a spammer or an advertiser. The subject I am inquiring about pertains to price/quality ratio involved with specific laser models. If anyone is patient and willing enough to provide me with assistance, I greatly appreciate it. Daguin, Its ok. You are right, there was a lot of that in the post but I really didn't know how else to describe it. I am new here and not that experienced so if I don't go about asking the questions properly I apologize. But since you read my post, I have to ask...do you have insight on the concerns I presented? If you know anything about the issues I described, feel free to PM me anytime. Any help is appreciated as I am attempting to purchase another pointer and trying to get something reliable, yet coast effective. Thank you.

Many times a company will have a second company that it uses to sell off its underspec, overproduced, or discontinued products at a lower price. They cannot use thier primary company or their regular customers would never pay the higher price and they would have to give the same level of support for the lower priced product as the higher priced one.

Also, companies will respond to market pressure for lower prices. When this happens watch out for what else has been eliminated to cover the income loss. Have they eliminated some "benefit" with purchase? Do they no longer offer free shipping? Has the warantee been reduced? These actions all allow the company to hold the same profit margin while offering the product at a lower price.
