Anyone Tried this 405nm Glass lens?

Called LSP... I've seen their laser modules and lens pop up in more and more places.. Since the search turned up nothing on the forum, I've got to ask... How good do you all suppose this lens is?

i know it doesn't work... I said so didn't I? Just go up to your broswer's address bar and combine the following phrases... laser surplus parts .com

I believe that lens you are referring to is the same one advertised on O-like, but for half the price. I don't remember where, but someone reported that it has half the power increase that you would get from one of Larry's lenses.
I may just have to get one for that price.

Edit: I think I was looking at the wrong lens... but it's still cheaper than O-like and ships from USA.

what appeals to me is the compatibility with the aixis module... but on the other hand, the power difference is +/-10%.. I would hate to spend that kind of money for gaining a possible power loss...

In talking to different lens suppliers, I have been told that the reason the Meredith glass lenses, and my 405-G-1 glass lenses are so expensive, is because of the design and shape of the lens. Not just the coatings...

And that any lens of this quality would be expensive.
