anyone supplies laser parts in UK

Hi guys.I am wondering if some of you living in UK got laser parts from UK companies.
I do not know if is good for me pay for schipping from USA to UK.Will it be still cheap?
I have taken red laser diode from dvd burner and don't know what to do next.

Hey Wonderwoman! IU would also check out Odicforce! I have talked to the chap over the phone, and he seems real nice, and willing to help.

I have ordered form China in the past. (Deal Extreme and O-Like) and had no problems, BUT I will probably be ordering from Odicforce in the future as Its based in the U.K. = speedy delivery.

There are loads of tutorial on thew site. check out the tutorials page. But to get you started, you will need a housing for the diode. (Aixiz Module) and a current driver to regulate current.
