150mW of green is waaaaay too powerful to be used as a pointer. Especially since the LCD panel may be somewhat reflective. I really hope that was a joke, rhd. :cryyy:

I think the right track is to go up in power, but not greater than 30mW of green or 50mW of true blue... Link

You could also potentially wreck the display... I wouldn't risk that high of a power...

Why not get an airmouse? It works like a laser pointer but controls the cursor... You could even get a custom mouse cursor to make a bright dot on the screen.

Tad of a learning curve but once you're used to it it works great.
