I ordered a few Groove Drives from him about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back from him. The last time I ordered a FlexDrive (~4 weeks ago), it was shipped out within a day
 





hes at work right now. he might be back ordered.
But i talked to him several times a week never had a problem.
 
I've found that the best and quickest way to get a response is to PM him though PL.
I usually get responses within the day. ;)

I havn't talked to him for a while, but he always answered faster on PL.

Andrew (DrLava) is a really nice guy; I've personally met him.
He's just a really busy guy sometimes. ;)
 
Still no reply :( Project deadline is coming up soon so I'm going to have to order from elsewhere if he doesn't reply soon
 
Hmm... Sorry to hear that.
I haven't talked to him for a few months.
He was having issues with communication when he was doing his grad work.
But now hes done, so, I dont know why he is not replying. :(
 
Maybe get a refund from Lava and order the drivers through a re-seller?

Thats a good idea. Jeff (flaminpyro) and DTR ship fast, so you can probably get it for your project in time.

i didnt know jeff carried the groove 2 i thought he only carried the flexmod...modwerx does carry the groove 2 if jeff does not

drew is also a good guy he always ships within 2 days (in my experience) i have bought $100's from his store and continue too :beer:

EDIT: modwerx is sold out what current do you need a mohgasm driver would be fine if you can do fixed current

Oops. My bad. I misread the op when I posted that. I saw the micro flexdrive mentioned and missed the groove. No, Jeff nor DTR carry the groove. Sorry. :(

Yea I've tried PMing him here and on PL, but no luck.


I guess I could look into other drivers but I'd prefer an adjustable current since I don't know what values I'll need for my final specs :p
 
If you need a driver from Dr. Lava's you can get it right here I am about to
get my first shipment of Groove drivers in.

If you need anything Lava you can try me.

If you can not get a hold of him it's because he is extremely busy, he just
got a new job in another state all the way across the country and is in the
process of moving while still working the new job.

Give the guy a break, you may need his services one day to save your life !

If you really need something and can't get a hold of him try me :D
