another noob question

I've been looking to get a green laser but I am not sure which company I should buy it from, O-like doesn't have any 200mW torches but rayfoss does

which one is a better choice, I"m leaning towards the rayfoss one but any opinions would be appreciated

The rayfoss 200mw torches are very duty-cycle dependent, that's why o-like has so few of them, users don't respect the duty cycle and break the laser. If you go for either of them, remember to go easy on them and keep a strict duty cycle

exactly. I'm using one of these, as long as you don't use it for more than 45-60 seconds continuously you won't have problems.

I would get the 200mw module from o-like.

Then put it inside Jayrob's green hosts.

Those premade ones aren't built too well. I mean they don't have very good heatsinking.

I know Jay's green hosts come with machined heatsinks made for o-like modules.
