Lasers and holograms! Yea Astrolaser. I did about 30 holograms using a 5mW red and green diode about 4 years ago. The wife got tired of all the costic developing chemecals. I was using the bathroom in our little appartment for my dark room. she hated it. It's a little tricky, as you have to make the exposure in a sand box to damping all vibrations. You have to turn off every thing that vibrates in the house, wait for no cars driving by out side, and hold your breath while making the exposure. All you need is Glass Photo Plated, the chemecals to develope them, a laser, and a sand box.

u forgot the most wide use: showing off to ur buddies, hell us guys know that nothing turns a girl on like a properly collimated green laser beam

I was round a friends house on Saturday, whipped it out (the laser that is ) and she was like cool !!! took her outside and she was in awe. Her friend was like WTH :thinking: it's just a shiny light !!! Women !!!!

Some women are unbelievably ignorant! They probably wouldn't care to know the difference between a laser and a flashlight god dammit!

Did you try that kit from Litiholo you had a link to ?

A long time ago I had a darkroom for black and white photography, it was neat but I don't want to go thru the equipment expense and messing with developing chemicals again.

At the link it says:

"You can now get BRIGHTER HOLOGRAMS made with SHORTER EXPOSURE times, and there are still NO chemicals and NO processing to see your holograms"

So it seems like they have a non-chemical and no processing method.

(that picture with the cat and goggles, do they actually make laser protection goggles for pets ?)

That would be epic! laser protection for pets. I'm always worried about others and never wanted to protect my eyes and just be safe for every one equally including my self. With laser goggles for my pets, I could just be completely unsocial ahhahaha.
now I just need a sheet of the plastic they use for the lens for blue lasers, and hook my fish tank up with it :p

Hey, here's an idea, how about insect control like flies for example ?

If there is a pesky fly in your house you can't seem to swat, would zapping it with a laser at least knock it to the floor so you could get it ?

Beware when playing with animals! I shined Bobo (our former cat), when playing with him, in the eye with a common red 5 mW-laser. Hes eye went withe for some days! But it went over.

I would never play with our cats with a stronger laser!

Them all my relatives and frinds asks me why I bought a 1 W blue laser. Its to strong with demonstrations and lectures. (Maybe it's set fire on the projector-screen). They think I'm wasting money. But I just think it's a cool stuff!

I joke about to start an eye-clinic, to operate eyes... :)

Yeah! That's true! My girls be in the habit of leave me after some weeks! Mayby because I talk to much about lasers, radioactivity and astronomy. I'm a real nerd! Once a girl left me due to I woulden't f**k her. I said I'm gonna take a cigarette and played with my laser in the smoke. She lied naked on my sofa and wondered what wo gonna do now... I said she could sleep in the sofa, and I went to sleep in my bed...
